Power-monitoring gateway
IOT Express® offers its POWER Connect® gateway to drive the load rate of industrial equipment from the power it actually consumes.
Fitted non-intrusively with non-invasive current sensors, POWER Connect® continuously measures a machine's electrical consumption to deduce its operating status, its cycle times and its energy cost. Measurements are timestamped in UTC and streamed over WIFI to the IOT Express® platform, where they feed the indicators and the KANBAN manufacturing-order management system.
Load rate
From the power actually consumed, derive the load rate, the cycle times and the running status of any production equipment.
Non-intrusive installation
Shipped in an electrical enclosure with non-invasive current sensors, the gateway is fitted without modifying the machine or interrupting production.
Workshop management
The operating indicators feed the KANBAN system of IOT Express® for electronic management of manufacturing orders and operations.
Energy efficiency
By measuring the energy cost of each piece of equipment, POWER Connect® helps to control and optimise the electrical consumption of your production.

Main features
Non-intrusive and ready to use
The POWER Connect® telematics gateway is shipped in an electrical enclosure for a non-intrusive installation. It uses non-invasive current sensors and connects without any work on the machine’s controllers.
Load rate
Lets you analyse the load rate and the cycle times of any equipment, from the power it actually consumes.
Built-in sensors
The WIFI POWER Connect® telematics gateway integrates:
• continuous measurement of a piece of equipment’s electrical consumption,
• non-intrusive current sensors,
• supply-voltage measurement,
• UTC time synchronisation to timestamp every measurement.
WIFI connectivity
Equipped with a WIFI antenna and an elongated design with 3 m of cable, the gateway streams its data in real time to the IOT Express® platform over your workshop network.
Energy efficiency
The POWER Connect® gateway lets you control and optimise the electrical consumption of production equipment, and track its energy cost.
Integrated into IOT Express®
The configuration of the POWER Connect® gateway is managed in IOT Express®, and the collected data is stored there to feed indicators and dashboards.
